The battle for the 2016 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup is just one day away and today, Russia released it’s roster that will compete in the tournament.
Two of the players selected to represent their country were selected in the 2016 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft: Pavel Demin (Niagara Ice Dogs) and Alexei Lipanov (Barrie Colts).
Almost half of twenty two man roster, ten of them, are teammates with Dynamo Moscow. The tournament runs from August 8 to 13 in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
