CHL Top-10 Rankings presented by Delta Hotels by Marriott: London at No. 1 for a third straight month, while Brantford marks its return to the Top 10

TORONTO, ON — Today, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced the Week 19 edition of its CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2024-25 season.

With a CHL-best 43 wins, including three victories over the last week, the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) have now held the No.1 spot for a third straight month. Sitting in second are the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Outside of the London Knights, the Wildcats are the only other team in the CHL to have topped 40 wins so far during the 2024-25 campaign. Finally, rounding out the top three is the Rimouski Océanic of the QMJHL at No. 3. The 2025 Memorial Cup hosts have won four in a row and hold the third-best points percentage of any club in the CHL (.745).

Among the biggest changes of the week are the rise of the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League (WHL) and the return of the Brantford Bulldogs of the OHL in the CHL Top-10 Rankings. Having earned a point in 18 of their last 19 games (16-1-1-1), including four victories last week, the Tigers are up three spots to No. 7. Meanwhile, with 16 wins over their last 18 contests (16-1-1-0), the Bulldogs are back in the CHL Top-10 Rankings for the first time since October 1, sitting in tenth position this week.

The next rankings will be released the week of February 24, following the 20th week of regular season action in all three member leagues of the CHL.

TORONTO, ON — Today, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced the Week 18 edition of its CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2024-25 season.

With a CHL best 40 wins and .827 winning percentage, the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League remain in the top spot for an 11th straight week. The Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League’s Moncton Wildcats stand pat at no. 2, a position they have held for 15 of the last 17 weeks. The top three is rounded out by the 2025 Memorial Cup hosts, the Rimouski Oceanic of the QMJHL.

The biggest mover in Week 18 is the Western Hockey League’s Calgary Hitmen who move up two spots
to a season best no. 7. With a pair of wins last week, the Hitmen – who are 8-1-1 over their last 10 games – own the best winning percentage in the WHL’s Eastern Conference at .690.

The next rankings will be released the week of February 17, following the 19th week of regular season action in all three member leagues of the CHL.

CHL Top-10 Rankings presented by Delta Hotels by Marriott: London holds firm at No.1 for a tenth straight week, while Barrie reenters the Top 10

TORONTO, ON — Today, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced the Week 17 edition of its CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2024-25 season.

Holding a CHL-best 38 wins and a .819 points percentage, the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) remain in the top spot for a tenth week in a row. Meanwhile, having climbed up a pair of places, the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) are back in second – sitting among the top three for the 14th time in 16 weeks. Only the Knights have more wins and a better points percentage across the CHL than the Wildcats (36 wins & .804). Lastly, having also jumped up two spots, the Rimouski Océanic of the QMJHL rank among the top three for the first time since October 22. The 2025 Memorial Cup hosts have earned a point in 13 of their last 14 (11-1-1-1), including 11 wins over that stretch, and trail only Moncton in the QMJHL overall standings.

Among other notable changes to this week’s rankings is the return of the OHL’s Barrie Colts to the Top 10 for the first time in a month. With a point in eight straight games (7-0-1-0), the longest active streak of its kind in the OHL, the Colts have climbed up to tenth. Additionally, a pair of Western Hockey League (WHL) clubs are among this week’s biggest risers. With seven wins over their last nine, averaging 6.00 goals per game over that stretch, the Spokane Chiefs are up to sixth. Plus, amid the longest active point streak in the CHL at 13 games (12-0-0-1), the Medicine Hat Tigers have risen for a second straight week – this time to No. 7.

TORONTO, ON — Today, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced the Week 15 edition of its CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2024-25 season.

With a CHL-best 30 wins and just two regulation losses since October 20, the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) continue to rank No. 1 – having held the position for the last two months. Right behind them is the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League (WHL), who climbed up to second after extending their current point streak to 11 games (8-0-1-2). The Silvertips continue to be the WHL’s lone 30-win team. Lastly, rounding out the top three in third is the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), whose 33 wins during the 2024-25 campaign trail only the London Knights across the CHL.

Among the biggest changes to this week’s rankings was the rise of the Rimouski Océanic of the QMJHL and the Spokane Chiefs of the WHL. Riding an eight-game point streak (6-0-1-1), the 2025 Memorial Cup hosts Rimouski Océanic are up a couple of spots to fourth and back in the top five for the first time since the holiday break. Meanwhile, having won three games and scored 29 goals over their last four contests, the Spokane Chiefs rose three places to seventh in this week’s rankings.

With 26 wins and only two regulation losses over their last 29 games, the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) continue to hold down the No. 1 spot, a position they’ve held since November 19. Trailing in second is the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), who are amid an eight-game winning streak as they sit first in the QMJHL. Lastly, rounding out the top three are the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League (WHL), who are riding a six-game point streak (4-0-1-1) as they hold a nine-point lead in the WHL.

Among the week’s biggest risers are the Kitchener Rangers and the Windsor Spitfires, who both play in the OHL. Having reeled off six victories in a row, the Rangers have moved up two spots to find themselves at a season-best No. 4 in the CHL Top-10 Rankings. Meanwhile, riding the longest active winning streak at eight victories in a row, the Spitfires are up to fifth and back in the top five for the first time since the beginning of November.

TORONTO, ON — Today, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced the Week 12 edition of its CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2024-25 season.

With 21 wins over their last 23 games, the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) find themselves at No. 1 for a fifth week in a row. Right behind them is the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), who alongside the Knights share the best point percentage of any club in the CHL at .806. Finally, rounding out the top three, are the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League (WHL), whose 25 wins are tied with London for the most in the CHL.

The rise of the Spokane Chiefs of the WHL and the entry of the Barrie Colts of the OHL are among the more notable changes to this week’s rankings. With 10 victories over their last 11 games, the Spokane Chiefs are up a spot in eighth this week. Meanwhile, having collected a point in nine of their last 10 games (7-1-1-1), the Barrie Colts are making their Top-10 debut of the season in ninth.

The next rankings will be released the week of January 6, following the holiday break of all three CHL Member Leagues and the 2025 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship. The QMJHL has officially begun its holiday break, while the OHL and WHL have games throughout this week. The WHL will be the first to come back from break with 10 games on Friday, December 27, before the QMJHL and OHL will mark their return on Saturday, December 28.

Right behind them in second is the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League (WHL), whose 51 points through 30 games are tied for the third-most of any WHL club over the last 10 years. Next, rounding out the top three, are the Drummondville Voltigeurs of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), who continue to rank first in the QMJHL’s overall standings. 

Among some of the biggest changes in this week’s rankings were the rise of the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL and the entry of the Spokane Chiefs of the WHL into the rankings. Riding a six-game winning streak, the Rangers entered into the top five for the first time this season. Riding a nine-game winning streak, the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) are up to second in this week’s rankings, while the reigning QMJHL champion Drummondville Voltigeurs are down one spot in third.

Among the biggest movers and shakers of the week were a pair of clubs from the Western Hockey League (WHL) – the Prince George Cougars and the Tri-City Americans. Having collected a point in seven consecutive contests (5-0-1-1), the Cougars are back in the top five for the first time since October 22. Meanwhile, currently on the longest winning streak in the CHL this season at 12 victories in a row, the Americans are making their CHL Top-10 debut this season in eighth.

As one of just three clubs with a CHL-best 13 wins this season, the Drummondville Voltigeurs of the QMJHL are up a spot to No. 2, while the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) slipped down a place to find themselves in third this week.

Among the biggest changes to this week’s rankings were the rise of the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL and the Chicoutimi Saguenéens of the QMJHL. The Rangers, who are currently in the midst of the longest point streak in the CHL at 14 games (12-0-1-1), are making their Top-10 debut of the 2024-25 campaign in seventh. Meanwhile, riding a six-game winning streak, the Saguenéens are also making their first appearance of the season in these rankings at No. 10.

TORONTO, ON — Today, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced the Week 5 edition of its CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2024-25 season.

With nine victories over their last 10 games, the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) rank first for a third straight week. Holding the best point percentage in the CHL at .875, the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) are up to their highest ranking of the season at No. 2. Meanwhile, the Drummondville Voltigeurs of the QMJHL moved up to third as they remain one of only three teams in the CHL with at least 11 wins this season.

Among some of the other biggest movers and shakers was the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League (WHL) and London Knights of the OHL, who both climbed up the rankings to No. 4 and No. 5 respectively after going undefeated last week. Additionally, as one of only four teams in the CHL with a point percentage greater than .800, the Saskatoon Blades of the WHL are making their Top-10 debut of the 2024-25 season in ninth.
