CHL Top-10 Rankings presented by Delta Hotels by Marriott: Blainville-Boisbriand, Brantford, and Spokane headline CHL’s Preseason Top-10 ahead of 2025-26 campaign

TORONTO, ON – The Canadian Hockey League (CHL) today unveiled its preseason edition of the CHL Top-10 Rankings presented by Delta Hotels by Marriott for the 2025-26 season.

Leading the list to open the campaign are the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), followed by the Brantford Bulldogs of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League (WHL), who round out the top three.

The rankings, set with input from NHL Central Scouting, come just days before the puck drops on the new season this Thursday, September 18. At 5:30 p.m. ET / 2:30 p.m. PT (on FloHockey), the QMJHL’s newest franchise, the Newfoundland Regiment, will make history with its inaugural game, hosting the defending champion Moncton Wildcats at Mary Brown’s Centre. Later that Thursday evening, the OHL kicks off with two matchups, highlighted by the Oshawa Generals — finalists in each of the past two seasons — visiting the North Bay Battalion at 7:00 p.m. ET / 4:00 p.m. PT (on FloHockey). The action continues Friday with a packed slate of 25 games across the CHL, including eight in the WHL to launch its campaign. Among them is a milestone debut for the league’s newest franchise, the Penticton Vees, who face the Victoria Royals at 10:05 p.m. ET / 7:05 p.m. PT (on Victory+) in their first-ever WHL contest.

For the 2025-26 season, fans won’t miss a moment of CHL action with FloHockey serving as the home of the OHL and QMJHL, while Victory+ will be the streaming destination of the WHL. FloHockey’s coverage will include more than 680 OHL games and all 576 QMJHL regular-season matchups, plus the playoffs and marquee events such as the OHL Top Prospects Game and the QMJHL Prospects Game. Meanwhile, Victory+ will provide free access to over 700 WHL regular-season games, the WHL Playoffs, classic matchups from the archives, and more.

This season, the road to junior hockey’s ultimate prize – the Memorial Cup – will end in Kelowna, B.C., where the WHL’s Kelowna Rockets will host the 106th edition of the tournament from May 21–31, 2026. It will be the first time the event returns to Kelowna since 2004, when the Rockets lifted the CHL championship trophy on home ice.

CHL Top-10 Rankings presented by Delta Hotels by Marriott: Moncton wraps up 2024-25 regular season at No. 1, while London & Medicine Hat round out the top three

TORONTO, ON — Today, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced the Week 24 and final edition of its CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2024-25 season.

Coming into the postseason on a 15-game winning streak, the longest active streak in the CHL, the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) close out the 2024-25 campaign as the No.1-ranked team in the CHL. The Wildcats led all teams across the CHL in regulation losses (9), points percentage (.844), goal differential (+150), penalty kill percentage (86.4%), and goals allowed per game (2.25). Right behind them is the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), who come in at No. 2. No team in the CHL won more games (55) or put up more points (112) than the Knights this season, as London finished 2024-25 as the CHL’s highest-scoring club (4.78 goals per game). Meanwhile, rounding out the top three is the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League (WHL), who enter the 2025 WHL Playoffs presented by Nutrien having won 10 games in a row. Dating back to January 1, the Tigers have earned 26 victories in 31 games (26-3-1-1), scoring at a near five-goals-per-game pace over that stretch (4.94).

Sitting in fourth, having been ranked among the top five for 10 weeks in a row, are the Rimouski Océanic of the QMJHL. The 2025 Memorial Cup hosts capped off their year with their largest win total (46) in a single season in 10 years (2014-15 – 47 wins). In fifth, the Everett Silvertips of the WHL complete the top half of the CHL Top-10 Rankings. The winners of the Scotty Munro Memorial Trophy as the WHL’s 2024-25 Regular Season Champions come into the playoffs as the WHL top-seeded team amidst a six-game point streak (5-0-0-1). Lastly, the Brantford Bulldogs of the OHL climbed the ranks for a third week in a row, placing seventh to close out the season. Completing the year as one of the CHL’s hottest teams, the Bulldogs won 26 of their last 33 games (26-5-2-0) to secure the top seed in the OHL’s Eastern Conference.

TORONTO, ON — Today, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced the Week 23 edition of its CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2024-25 season.

Riding a 13-game winning streak, the longest active streak in the CHL, the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) are back at No. 1 for a third straight week. Having already secured the Jean-Rougeau Trophy as the 2024-25 QMJHL Regular Season Champions, the Wildcats hold the fewest regulation losses (nine) of any CHL club and the CHL’s best goal differential at +144. Sitting in second for the third consecutive week is the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Over the last week, the Knights claimed the Hamilton Spectator Trophy as the OHL’s Regular Season Champions for the second consecutive season and the eighth time in franchise history. Finally, rounding out the top three, is the Rimouski Océanic of the QMJHL who are ranked third for the seventh week in a row. The 2025 Memorial Cup hosts have locked second place in the QMJHL thanks to their 44-14-2-2 record.

Among the most notable changes to this week’s rankings were the rise of two Western Hockey League (WHL) clubs, the Medicine Hat Tigers and the Everett Silvertips, along with the return of the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL to the Top 10. With 24 victories in 28 games (24-2-1-1) dating back to January 4, including eight straight wins, the Tigers are in fourth – their highest ranking in the CHL Top-10 Rankings since October 1. Up a place into fifth are the Silvertips, who secured their second Scotty Munro Memorial Trophy as the WHL’s Regular Season Champions in franchise history and their first since the 2006-07 season. Meanwhile, with three wins over their last four outings including a victory over the No.2-ranked Knights on Sunday, the Spitfires are back in the Top 10 for the first time in three weeks.

With the regular season set to wrap up in all three member leagues of the CHL this weekend, next week’s rankings will be the 24th and final ones of the 2024-25 campaign.

TORONTO, ON — Today, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced the Week 22 edition of its CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2024-25 season.

Having extended their winning streak to 10 games, the longest active streak in the CHL, the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) are ranked first for a second week in a row. Thanks to their three wins over the last seven days, Moncton also earned the Jean-Rougeau Trophy as the 2024-25 QMJHL Regular Season Champions. It marks just the second time the Wildcats have achieved this feat in franchise history, having previously done so in 2005-06. Right behind them at No. 2 stand the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), who recorded their second consecutive 50-win season and became the first club in the CHL to reach this mark in 2024-25. Rounding out the top three is the Rimouski Océanic of the QMJHL, who stand in third for a sixth straight week. The 2025 Memorial Cup hosts have won eight of their last 10 (8-1-1-0) with their lone regulation loss coming at the hands of the No.1-ranked Wildcats.

Among the biggest changes to the rankings this week were the rise of two Western Hockey League (WHL) clubs, the Spokane Chiefs and the Medicine Hat Tigers. With 13 wins over their last 17 contests (13-2-1-1) dating back to January 31, the Chiefs are back up to their season-best ranking of fourth. Meanwhile, with 22 victories in 26 games (22-2-1-1) since the beginning of January, including six wins in a row, the Tigers have climbed up to fifth and they are making their first appearance in the Top 5 since October 15.

The next rankings will be released the week of March 17, following the 23rd week of regular season action in all three member leagues of the CHL.

TORONTO, ON — Today, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced the Week 21 edition of its CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2024-25 season.

Having won seven games in a row, the longest active winning streak across the CHL, the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) have climbed up to No. 1 – attaining the top spot for the first time since November 12. The Wildcats, who continue to lead the QMJHL with 45 wins and 92 points, hold the best goal differential of any club across the CHL (+122). Right behind them, having slipped a spot after sitting first for 13 straight weeks, are the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). London continues to lead the CHL with 47 wins and a .828 points percentage. Finally, rounding out the top three is the Rimouski Océanic of the QMJHL, who are ranked third for the fifth week in a row. The 2025 Memorial Cup hosts extended their point streak to eight games (7-0-1-0) thanks to a pair of road victories last week.

Among the biggest changes to this week’s rankings were the rise of both the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League (WHL) and the Brantford Bulldogs of the OHL, along with the entry of the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada of the QMJHL into the CHL Top-10 Rankings for the first time this season. Having improved their record at home to 23-5-1-2 with a pair of wins in Everett last week, the Silvertips are up to No. 4. With 20 wins over their last 23 games (20-2-1-0), the Bulldogs sit alone atop the OHL’s Eastern Conference and now rank ninth among the CHL’s Top 10. Finally, amid the CHL’s longest active point streak at 13 straight games (8-0-3-2), the Armada are making their Top-10 debut of the 2024-25 campaign in tenth.

With a CHL-best 45 wins and .836 points percentage, which is being powered by their current eight-game point streak (7-0-1-0), the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) continue their dominance as they remain No.1 for a 13th consecutive week. Right behind them, sitting in second, are the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). The Wildcats are allowing 2.33 goals per game on average and hold a +118 goal differential – both of which rank first among all clubs in the CHL. Finally, the Rimouski Océanic of the QMJHL are sitting at No.3 for the fourth week in a row. The 2025 Memorial Cup hosts extended their point streak to six games (5-0-1-0) over the last seven days and they continue to hold the third-best points percentage (.745) in the CHL.

Among the notable changes to this week’s rankings were the rise of the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League (WHL), the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL, and the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL. With 18 wins over their last 22 games (18-2-1-1), the Tigers are up to No. 6 – their highest ranking since October 15. Having earned big victories against the Barrie Colts and the No.1-ranked London Knights in the last week, the Rangers have climbed up to seventh. Meanwhile, with 13 victories over their last 16 contests (13-3-0-0), the Hitmen have risen by one place to sit eighth this week.

With a CHL-best 43 wins, including three victories over the last week, the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) have now held the No.1 spot for a third straight month. Sitting in second are the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Outside of the London Knights, the Wildcats are the only other team in the CHL to have topped 40 wins so far during the 2024-25 campaign. Finally, rounding out the top three is the Rimouski Océanic of the QMJHL at No. 3. The 2025 Memorial Cup hosts have won four in a row and hold the third-best points percentage of any club in the CHL (.745).

Among the biggest changes of the week are the rise of the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League (WHL) and the return of the Brantford Bulldogs of the OHL in the CHL Top-10 Rankings. Having earned a point in 18 of their last 19 games (16-1-1-1), including four victories last week, the Tigers are up three spots to No. 7. TORONTO, ON — Today, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced the Week 18 edition of its CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2024-25 season.

With a CHL best 40 wins and .827 winning percentage, the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League remain in the top spot for an 11th straight week. The Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League’s Moncton Wildcats stand pat at no. 2, a position they have held for 15 of the last 17 weeks. The top three is rounded out by the 2025 Memorial Cup hosts, the Rimouski Oceanic of the QMJHL.

The biggest mover in Week 18 is the Western Hockey League’s Calgary Hitmen who move up two spots
to a season best no. 7. With a pair of wins last week, the Hitmen – who are 8-1-1 over their last 10 games – own the best winning percentage in the WHL’s Eastern Conference at .690.

The next rankings will be released the week of February 17, following the 19th week of regular season action in all three member leagues of the CHL.

TORONTO, ON — Today, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced the Week 17 edition of its CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2024-25 season.

Holding a CHL-best 38 wins and a .819 points percentage, the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) remain in the top spot for a tenth week in a row. Meanwhile, having climbed up a pair of places, the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) are back in second – sitting among the top three for the 14th time in 16 weeks. Only the Knights have more wins and a better points percentage across the CHL than the Wildcats (36 wins & .804). Lastly, having also jumped up two spots, the Rimouski Océanic of the QMJHL rank among the top three for the first time since October 22. The 2025 Memorial Cup hosts have earned a point in 13 of their last 14 (11-1-1-1), including 11 wins over that stretch, and trail only Moncton in the QMJHL overall standings.

Among other notable changes to this week’s rankings is the return of the OHL’s Barrie Colts to the Top 10 for the first time in a month. With a point in eight straight games (7-0-1-0), the longest active streak of its kind in the OHL, the Colts have climbed up to tenth. Additionally, a pair of Western Hockey League (WHL) clubs are among this week’s biggest risers. With seven wins over their last nine, averaging 6.00 goals per game over that stretch, the Spokane Chiefs are up to sixth. Plus, amid the longest active point streak in the CHL at 13 games (12-0-0-1), the Medicine Hat Tigers have risen for a second straight week – this time to No. 7.

TORONTO, ON — Today, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced the Week 15 edition of its CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2024-25 season.

With a CHL-best 30 wins and just two regulation losses since October 20, the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) continue to rank No. 1 – having held the position for the last two months. Right behind them is the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League (WHL), who climbed up to second after extending their current point streak to 11 games (8-0-1-2). The Silvertips continue to be the WHL’s lone 30-win team. Lastly, rounding out the top three in third is the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), whose 33 wins during the 2024-25 campaign trail only the London Knights across the CHL.

Among the biggest changes to this week’s rankings was the rise of the Rimouski Océanic of the QMJHL and the Spokane Chiefs of the WHL. Riding an eight-game point streak (6-0-1-1), the 2025 Memorial Cup hosts Rimouski Océanic are up a couple of spots to fourth and back in the top five for the first time since the holiday break. Meanwhile, having won three games and scored 29 goals over their last four contests, the Spokane Chiefs rose three places to seventh in this week’s rankings.

The next rankings will be released the week of January 27, following the 16th week of regular season action in all three member leagues of the CHL.
