CHL Top-10 Rankings presented by Delta Hotels by Marriott: London remains No. 1, while Tri-City & Saskatoon climb up the rankings

TORONTO, ON — Today, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced the Week 10 edition of its CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2024-25 season.

Riding a CHL-best 18-game winning streak, the longest of any club this season, the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) continue to hold first place. Sitting second is the Drummondville Voltigeurs of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), who rank first in the QMJHL thanks to six straight wins. Behind them in third place are the Moncton Wildcats of the QMJHL, who are one of just four teams in the CHL to have topped 20 wins during the 2024-25 campaign thus far.

Among some of the notable changes to this week’s rankings was the rise of two Western Hockey League (WHL) clubs – the Tri-City Americans and the Saskatoon Blades. Winners in 17 of their last 20 contests, the Americans find themselves in ninth, while the Blades are back in the Top-10 rankings for the first time since October 29 thanks to their current three-game winning streak.

The next rankings will be released the week of December 10, following the 11th week of regular season action in all three member leagues of the CHL.

CHL Top-10 Rankings: Moncton makes it five straight weeks at No. 1, while Tri-City enters the Top-10 in eighth

TORONTO, ON — Today, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced the Week 7 edition of its CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2024-25 season.

Having extended their point streak to eight games (7-0-1-0) with a pair of victories last week, the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) are in the No. 1 spot for a fifth week in a row. Riding a nine-game winning streak, the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) are up to second in this week’s rankings, while the reigning QMJHL champion Drummondville Voltigeurs are down one spot in third.

Among the biggest movers and shakers of the week were a pair of clubs from the Western Hockey League (WHL) – the Prince George Cougars and the Tri-City Americans. Having collected a point in seven consecutive contests (5-0-1-1), the Cougars are back in the top five for the first time since October 22. Meanwhile, currently on the longest winning streak in the CHL this season at 12 victories in a row, the Americans are making their CHL Top-10 debut this season in eighth.

The next rankings will be released the week of November 18, following the eighth week of regular season action in all three member leagues of the CHL.

CHL Top-10 Rankings: Moncton holds firm at No. 1, while Kitchener & Chicoutimi enter the rankings

TORONTO, ON — Today, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced the Week 6 edition of its CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2024-25 season.

Riding a six-game point streak (5-0-1-0), the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) maintained their place atop the CHL Top-10 Rankings for the fourth consecutive week. As one of just three clubs with a CHL-best 13 wins this season, the Drummondville Voltigeurs of the QMJHL are up a spot to No. 2, while the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) slipped down a place to find themselves in third this week.

Among the biggest changes to this week’s rankings were the rise of the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL and the Chicoutimi Saguenéens of the QMJHL. The Rangers, who are currently in the midst of the longest point streak in the CHL at 14 games (12-0-1-1), are making their Top-10 debut of the 2024-25 campaign in seventh. Meanwhile, riding a six-game winning streak, the Saguenéens are also making their first appearance of the season in these rankings at No. 10.

The next rankings will be released the week of November 11, following the seventh week of regular season action in all three member leagues of the CHL.

Holding the best point percentage in the CHL at .875, the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) are up to their highest ranking of the season at No. 2. Meanwhile, the Drummondville Voltigeurs of the QMJHL moved up to third as they remain one of only three teams in the CHL with at least 11 wins this season.

Among some of the other biggest movers and shakers was the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League (WHL) and London Knights of the OHL, who both climbed up the rankings to No. 4 and No. 5 respectively after going undefeated last week. With seven wins over their last 10 games, the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) remained in the top spot for a second week in a row. Riding the longest winning streak in the CHL this season at seven straight victories, the Rimouski Océanic of the QMJHL climbed up to second place, while the Brampton Steelheads of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) slipped down a spot for a second straight week, this time to No. 3.

Among some of this week’s biggest risers were the Drummondville Voltigeurs of the QMJHL and the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL, who came in at No. 5 and No. 6 respectively this week. The Voltigeurs are one of only two nine-win teams in the CHL so far during the 2024-25 campaign, while the Spitfires continue to hold the best point percentage of any club in the CHL at .850.

The next rankings will be released the week of October 28, following the fifth week of regular season action in all three member leagues of the CHL.

Riding a four-game winning streak, the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) moved into the top spot for the first time this season. Right behind them are the Brampton Steelheads of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), who fell down a spot to second, while the Prince George Cougars of the Western Hockey League (WHL) remain in third.

Undefeated over the last week, the Rimouski Océanic of the QMJHL, the Medicine Hat Tigers of the WHL, and the London Knights of the OHL were among this week’s biggest risers.
