He has already unleashed his offensive wizardry in the opening three days of Knights training camp.
The next steps for Antonio Stranges are to help lead London’s attack and convince NHL teams he is worthy of a high selection next June in Montreal — preferably in the spotlight of Friday night’s first round.
“That’s my goal — I’d like to be in the top 20 picks,” the 17-year-old sophomore winger said. “I watched the draft on TV this year and it looks real special to get your name called, walk up on that stage and put that NHL uniform on for the first time.
“That’s something I want to do and if I play my game, I can achieve that.”
